On a break in Sicily last week when we pulled into the underground car park at the bottom of Taormina so we could take the cable car up to the Coastal Mountain town, see the ampitheatre and enjoy one of the many good restaurants.

In a dark corner of said car park I spotted two blokes working on a collection of original up for sale Fiat 500s, plus a lovely looking Fiat van and several scooters. One of the guys there was happy I took a few pictures so thought I'd post them here for others to appreciate.

That Topo wagon is to die for! I spy a 2000 GTV too.

Sicily is a great place to source old Italian stuff as it's very dry so the cars are well preserved (if a little bashed about!).

If you’re ever near Termini Imerese there’s a great small museum there with Targa Florio cars and other that run in local events.

There are loads still on the roads. We are in Modica often, and see all kinds, all part of the charm. smile
