Had my Giulia QV for 2 weeks now. 17 car, 9k all the usual refinements plus carbon seats.

The car is simply epic. Marginally slower (real world, not track) than my Mclaren (now sold). More space for the kids (16 and 18) in the back than our Q5. Good size boot. Infotainment is intuitive and works. Chassis is sublime. Suspension and damping is sensational. Power delivery is gargantuan. Gearbox is astonishing for an auto - I was convinced it was a dual clutch.

There is only one niggle. The tyres. I hate Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres. Had them on the Macca. Useless. Will change to MPS4S - transformed the McLaren, my 911 and Maser.

I watched Harry Metcalfe’s vid and he criticised the lack of steering feel. I agree to a point. But the chassis is so good it compensates.

I like my electric comfort seats. However, surprisingly, even my rugby ass fits in the carbon seats. If buying new I would never have ordered them. And I would have missed out. They’re terrific and very comfortable.

Look forward to meeting other owners. It’s bloody good to be back in an Alfa :-)

The Michelins are MUCH better on the road than the Corsas. It does transform the experience.

That's a good video on the Sottozeros.
Harrys Garage has just posted his review on YT.

I've completed just over 2000 miles on the OE Pirelli PZeros in my 68 reg as a daily driver. Apart from the 'grabby' cold start feel they have been pretty good in the weather here and in Europe on B roads and Motorways. I will probably change to the Michelin PS4s when these wear out seeing as the Michelins have had such good reviews, but would consider the Sottozeros if the temps were going to be below 7C for several weeks.

No issue so far with the brake by wire feeling. The only thing I'm not so keen on is the flashing lights in the side mirrors in narrow lanes.

I've left the tyre pressures as recommended. Anyone have any other recommendations?

Also have the comfort seats with the heating and heated steering wheel which is pretty nice. The folding rear seats on this model are great for taking my bike.

Imo they should offer the option of Q4 on the Giulia QF.

I switched to MPS4S and will never return to Corsa's.

I would have said I don't agree about the steering feedback before...that was until I had a drive in a 68 plate Stelvio QF last week and the steering in that was amazing compared to my 67 plate Giulia QF. It was heavier, and a lot more road feedback through the wheel, neither of which I really get in my car.

The guy in the garage agreed with me and thinks there's been some software updates in the later models. Not sure if earlier models will get it but I doubt it.
