595 Competizione 2014/2015 Differences?
Discussion
Afternoon,
Well after reading a recent post on here by a member who got a stinking deal on a 595 Turismo it got me looking at these again. I previously owned a ‘10 plate Essesse model in Campovolo Grey and it was an absolute blast!
Looking around the user market and I think I fancy the Competitzione this time round - the Sabelt seats and Monza exhaust just tip the balance for me.
That being said are there any major differences between ‘14 and ‘15 plate cars - from what I can see it’s a change of turbo which results in 180bhp??
Also wondering whether technology-wise and cosmetically speaking whether it would be better to buy a ‘17 plate standard Abarth and fit the exhaust or go for the earlier car in Competitzione spec?
I am sure there are people that have been lucky enough to own both so would appreciate any thoughts or experiences?

Also on my last one I had the standard seats - anyone who has had both the standard and the Sabelt could you comment on any noticeable differences?
I remember the standard seats not being that supportive if on a spirited drive and the slimline nature of the Sabelts look like you might benefit from a touch more legroom in the rear?

2016 was the changeover of facelifted models, I know the Garret came on some 2015 comps not so sure with 2014 comps but someone more knowledgeable on the older cars may have the answer.
Garret you can get 250+ IHI you’ll be struggling to get much more that 180-200bhp.
Sabelts are far more supportive than the standard seats but are fixed height which some don’t like.

I have a 2017, with the carbon Sabelts, They look great but it took my back a while to (reshape) to them. At the start I thought they were going go be too painful, but something in my back let go and now they are fine!!!Garret you can get 250+ IHI you’ll be struggling to get much more that 180-200bhp.

You really need to try they on a drive and see how you get on, if you have back issues they may not be suitable, they are great though for support.
As for mechanical differences, try and get a comp with the performance pack, so carbon seats and LSD, it makes a big difference.
Ive got the Bluespark tuning box which is supposed to be good for 218 bhp and a lot more torque.
