Any advice appreciated:

Awaiting delivery of Guilia Quadrifoglio in the next few weeks, is there a recommended mileage? or will the standard 1000 miles be enough before incrementally exploring the performance?

Dealership seem to have no clue.

I assume they are still following the same testing protocol...

When I got mine (2 years ago) the garage told me the engine had somewhere in the region of 2000KM worth of testing before being fitted into the car. This was confirmed here by others in one of the QF threads.

One good point made though was while the engine comes run-in, much of the other running gear does not, so no harm not getting a few miles on her before letting her loose.

Just drive it normally.... has been designed for it, let it warm up nicely before any canning. take it easy on the first few thousand kms, if helps to know the car better, makes sure all components are working together and more importantly gives you time to acclimatise to the car and it's power. Unless you are driving like you stole it there is nothing to worry about it just go and enjoy it.
