Considering putting a dump valve on my 595 competitizione.

Any feedbacks or recommendations?

Personally, I would always go with recirculating, rather than atmospheric - the extra noise of the atmospheric is great fun for the first few days and then it just irritates

I realy rate Forge Motorsport kit - I have one of their dump valves on my Fiat Coupe. It's my second, as the first one failed after 200,000 miles.....

I would be interested in the recommendations too, I'm on my 2nd abarth and having grown up around escort and fiesta rs turbos but dump valves I've often toyed with the idea or adding one

Suppose it depends on the level of “chooo” you want etc.

I installed a bonalume pop off filter , which is a VTA , for £40 it’s way more subtle but still gives the woosh as it vents.

Not quite as anti social as a full dump , but a 2 minute job and easily reversed.

Bonalume do a switchable version of their dump valve so you can simply switch between recirculating or vta as the mood suits.

I ran a small pop off filter similar to the bonalume one for a few years. You can get the 25mm filters for less than £10.00 with a blanking plug. Think £40 for plastic one is a bit expensive personally although recently removed mine completely in favour of the standard set up.

May go down the electronic Bonalume valve at some point as the standard oem part is a known weakness.

I did think that before , but it’s a really nice “part” I bought some daft limited edition red one because I am an idiot and got all giddy waiting on the car to arrive. So that was £12 more than the yellow one.

It’s actually milled on a 4-axis from a single piece of aluminium, has no foam or anything so it’s a bit louder. Also is anodised in red so clearly makes everything better/faster/chootier.

I have also set fire to even more money by ordering a RamAir which I believe comes with a foam pop off too. Which I won’t use probably. I’m sure the internet will moan about induction kits being pointless etc......but I don’t care.

In my defence I was on the wine
