MOT history looks like its had a decent amount of attention over the years, with mostly mechaical bits - no reports of body corrosion, which would be the only big reason to walk away - almost everything else that can fail on these cars is fixable

Looks nice.

Check the MoT history - any advisories re underfloor corrosion?

They can look lovely externally, contain an interior good enough for a gentlemen's club, and drive fine (bushes permitting) - but may also suffer from rather serious rust. Structurally speaking.

No substitute exists for lying underneath it and looking for that first, before you bid.

Check for rust along the sills and very back of the floor pan. The worst place they rust is under the sill covers but you can’t check this without taking them off...

I’ve got one but a few years older than this, keeps my spanners from getting rusty but at least most parts are available.

I am welding the sills on one at the moment.

They have very deep seams at the bottom of the sills, and when these are bashed, the seam opens up and the rot starts. This car had holes you could stick your fist through in the inner sills.

Not a particularly hard job, but certainly time consuming.
