Hi, appologies if this has been covered before (had a quick search and couldn't find anything that recent)...

Does anyone have any reccommendations for decent (wishful thinking?) Alfa dealers in either Scotland (live nr Glasgow) or the north of England? Looking to buy a Giulia Quadrifoglio (used) but really want to avoid the Arnold Clark monopoly in Scotland.

I normally use a trusted performance car indy but doesn't look like they could do it from a diagnostics/software/warranty side of things.

Thanks.

I’ve had no issue with Mangoletsi from a service perspective. Didn’t buy from them as they didn’t seem to want to strike any deals and even tried to increase the original price of a car where the sale had fallen through

'Up North'... I was going to suggest Donald Mackenzie, Inverness... but Glasgow's not up North :-D

But if you fancy the trip, they've done right by me and my Quad so far.

If it's soon, make sure you're on winters and not corsas ;-)

smile Won't be soon as realistically it will probably be sometime in the spring before I actively start looking for one.
Its really just for the servicing that I'll be looking for a decent dealer, not the purchase.

If Thornaby-on-Tees is north enough for you I can thoroughly recommend Alexanders Teesside. Independent Alfa/Fiat/Jeep dealer and has supplied me with two of my Alfas. Excellent service and workshop too.
Ian Whitehead is the sales guy to speak to.

Western Lexus in central Glasgow still service Alfas (approved service centre). My experience has been very positive servicing two Giulia Veloces.
