I've only just discovered these are in the pipeline and they look fantastic. Anyone know when they might be launched in the UK? If Alfa nails the driving experience like they have with the Giulia and Stevlio they'll have a winner for sure. It's one of the few new cars that has me interested.

Might get a sniff of a LHD model around the dealers by the middle of next year-ish, but not expected until this time next year

Doubt it will drive anywhere near as well as a Giulia it’s on completely the wrong chassis to do that.

I wonder if it may have been re-engineered to sit on a PSA floorpan (whatever the 3008 sits on for example) which would probably cause further delays. You just never know what FCA are going to do next with their product line-up, who knows how the merger will affect things.

I don’t think there is time to re-engineer it before the expected launch, mid 2021.

I’m also living in Hope the tie up with PSA will bring some thing new, but I’m not holding my breath.

Yes you’re probably right, it would take too long for a full re-engineering job.

I’m also hoping for some sort of proper product strategy post merger. Alfa seem to have nailed their colours to the SUV tree out of desperation; hopefully the frogs can beat some sense into them! I mean, obviously they need SUVs, everyone does, but some nice smaller hatches and saloons would be in keeping with Alfa’s identity.

My understanding is that the Tonale will not be seen in the UK until 4th quarter 2021 at best. It is to be based upon the Jeep compass and a PHEV will be an option
