Anyone else on similar boat? Placed an order for a Giulia QV back in June last year with a estimated delivery date of end October. Endless delay and the dealer still can’t give me a build date. Communication from Alfa Uk has been really poor and tried calling their customer service number as well and they were useless.
The Cassino plant where they're built has had frequent shutdowns over the past 12 months - even recently it shut for a few weeks.
I also read in another Alfa thread that Alfa are reducing output of the QV due to emissions regs as every one manufactured brings their average emissions up and they've got nothing to balance it against.
It could also be your individual spec - I know there were issues with certain components a while back, ie the carbon roof, where they couldn't put dates on production.
They've also just completely changed the spec of the standard car, removing loads of options and sticking the Veloce seats in instead of the proper QV seats, so I'd aim to get it clarified if your car's affected.
I'd advise speaking to some other dealers to see if they've got anything coming in, or build slots available if your current dealer isn't giving you any options.
They seem to be a very rare beast at the moment!

This will be a big part of it - they have a smallish range of vehicles and most of them not very efficient, and the CO2 penalties are pretty serious for going over your average limits.jp825 said:

Hi, the dealer should be able to give you a build week. The cars I currently have on order are all due to be built by week 11. A car ordered in July is due into the country this week.If you are having no success with your supplying dealer I recommend speaking directly to Alfa Customer support on 0080025320000. This will at least fire a rocket up the dealer.
I hope they have your order in as the specs have changed now....
