Abarth - to service plan or not?
Discussion
I bought it, think it was slightly less in 2020 when I got mine. It definitely worked out cheaper than paying for the servicing required over 3 years.
I was also told it was t tied to the dealer where I bought the car from, so would still be usable if I moved house.
Plus it’s a great feeling to take your car in for a service, guzzle their coffee, take a test drive in another car, and not have to hand over any cash on the day 🤣

It’s just a service plan so things that wear out like pads, discs, tyres etc aren’t covered.
It covers the cost of the standard services (minor year one, major year 2, minor year 3). So it covers the items that according to the service schedule need to be changed (oil, brake fluid on major, etc) but doesn’t cover things that are “check and replace if necessary” such as windscreen wipers, tyres, brake pads, brake discs and so on.
To be honest I got it because it was cheaper than paying for 3 separate services, and wasn’t looking for a maintenance package like you can get on lease cars.
Looking forward to pictures of your new car on Tuesday, it’s been a long time coming!
