2017 2018 guilia quadrifoglio - potential next car

Hi all
Im heavily considering, or, more or less certain that I want a guilia quadrifoglio for my next car, ideally I dont want to spend above 31k as im buying outright.
Anybody have any experience or any valuable input regarding their experience with 2017 2018 year quads?
Im obviously looking at the bottom end of the guilia quad market at 31k ish so im hoping I wont end up with a dog. Has anybody bought one recently for similar money on here? I don't really want to stretch much more financially otherwise ill probably go for an m2 competition. Thanks in advance

I bought one recently but a 2019 at slightly higher budget (£37k).
I did test drive a 2017 (Alfa dealer in Slough) but decided it wasn't for me - MOT history showed very few miles in the last 3 years or so and it seemed odd.
Check the brakes - I knew mine needed doing but hadn't checked the full cost. They're pretty expensive.
Check the history includes majors - if it's due one that's about £1500+.
Original fuel pumps seem to be a weak point but as long as it's running fine it's just something to be aware of. If it's had a replacement it's a positive.
Brilliant cars - really impressed with mine, except that it seems to drink petrol even with sensible driving.
Note they have a security vulnerability - there is a solution but I won't post details on a public forum.
Insurance isn't that cheap - mine was £550 this month which compares with £400 for a McLaren - but that's probably partly because of their security weakeness.

Do you recall ball park figures for brake component prices? As I can do nearly all work myself apart from major works and thats only due to our new house not yet having a garage built & potentially i may need software which i wont have to repair some modern cars.
Any idea how expensive a replacement fuel pump is and if its a labour intensive job?

I can do brakes myself, but can't be bothered this time - so parts and labour is almost £3k from an indy. They are pretty anti Brembo for the Quads, but the parts are not so bad if you go that route I think.
I don't know the cost of fuel pumps - I know it's an issue but apparently less common on 2019+ and I've only had mine slightly under 2 months so not suffered it myself.

Not sure what has to come off, but yes - just the aux belt which is the big service. Mine was done at 4 years, so although it's just rolled over 36k it's not due until 2027.Looks like parts aren't crazy prices

The costs on these are very reasonabily given the type of car it is, and they're actually very reliabile. For brakes - go to Autodoc; you can get OEM for £500 for the pair at the right time (prices fluctuate slightly). Pads are only £60 from Alfaworks.
Otherwise, as mentioned, 4 yr service is the big cost, check when it was done. Make sure the front splitter works (in Dynamic or Race, go over 62mph and see if it errors) as the actators aren't cheap. Check for physical damage too, I think OEM cost for that splitter is £2.5k ! Dampers are £800 corner + fitting, tend to see replacements on the rear more than anything.
