Anyone still lucky enough to own a Sud or a Sprint?

I did have one of each but down to just the Sud now.

I actually built a racing Sud a few years back. Here in Australia you can find many examples. Mainly 1.5 litres.

They probably don't have the same rust troubles in your nice climate!

In a word, yes. And it's great, I learnt to drive in this wee beastie and I can't see it ever leaving the family. Although if my mother has her way it will make way for an XK120.

Chris I've got a mountain of new and used parts for these. Give me a shout if you're ever stuck.

Yup I have a green cloverleaf.Really fantastic car.Shame about the rust tho' especially in this tropical climate here in Malaysia. On top of this,I live by the sea.Has to apply anti-rust now and again.
If finely tuned,can put a 2000cc car to shame.Raspy roar.Throbbing sound.
Have to be careful at Lights tho' 'cause to the inexperience, the front wheelspin can be really disconcerting

We have an A reg AlfaSud Sprint sitting in the garage. Fully restored 10 years ago, drives like a dream and the paintwork is better than when it came out of the factory.
Doesn't get used as much as it should but when it does it gets used properly, ie runs down to Goodwood etc. Great car and it will be a sad day when it eventually makes space in my fathers garage for a new toy.
