Hi,

Have looked and cannot seem to find what differences the facelift made to the cars apart from a new front bumper! Anybody clue me up on the subject?

Cheers,
Mark

The facelift came in mid 1999 and was mainly cosmetic and is most easily spotted by the round front foglights. New front and back bumpers, teledial wheels on the Ti and Qv, chrome rimmed dials, standard air con (certainly on the higher spec cars). I am not sure when the change to the later spec 2.0 engines came about - it may have been just before the facelift, but the 155bhp engines are identified by their plastic cam covers. The 150bhp ones are alloy.

Fantastic cars. I had a 1996 145QV (one of the first) and then a facelift 1999 145QV. Loved them both. Suspect the earlier one was more fun, but that might just be because it was my first Alfa.

Cheers. I presume the QV spec is the Cloverleaf? Finding it really hard to find one up here in Scotland!
