Morning all.

Did an engine swap on a P plate 2.0 twinspark over the weekend.

Just road tested it and no reverse yikes

Before I get too involved with fiddling the gear selectors, how doesone normally select reverse? - Straight in, lift lever, depress lever?

thanks in advance.

The 6sp in the V6 has a lift collar on the 'stick.
Not sure about the 5sp in the TS - is it the same 'box as the 5sp V6?

Not doubting you at all; I was just sowing confusion into the thread smile

Dont think it is - there does not appear to be a lift collar on the gearstick.

Sorry - that's the confusion I've caused hitting home.
There are 3 combinations:

TS 5sp
V6 5sp
V6 6sp

The 6sp is the one with the lit collar for reverse. I was just wondering if the 5sp in the TS and V6 are the same 'box, as Batty's description is from the V6...
