ARE ALL ALFAS MADE IN ITALY??

Does any one know whether all alfa romeos are actually manufactured in Italy? If not, does anyone know what proportion are, or whether they get looked over by an italian engineer once off the production line? Are they assembled by hand or mechanically?

I believe some 156s were made from kits of parts (CKD) in Malaysia and going back to the 1960s and 70s I think they were also made in South Africa and South America on a very small scale. As for there being an Italian there at the end of it - I don't know.

Also some models were/are made at the PininFarina factory - but that is in Italy!
