I sold my GTV last year, and now drive the Mrs' 147, and it is now due a service.

When I had my GTV I was recommended a place near Crawley by a guy that had his own independent Alfa servicing. I never used him as sold the car before the service (and left the piece of paper with his number on in the Alfa FSH), but now the 147 is due I was thinking of using him.

I have just done a quick google and found this place www.rusperalfaromeo.co.uk. I think this could well be the place that was recommended to me - as being much cheaper than Alfa for a service, and being better as well.

Any one used them? can recommend them? any horror stories? or even let me know if this is the place that I was looking for!

Thanks in advance for any responses.

Definitely recommended. Recently taken over by Angus McLeod after Mike Buckler retired.

Another possibility is Bianco Auto Developments. They've also got a website www.bianco-alfa.com. This emphasises the racing side of things, but I'm very satisfied with the routine stuff I use them for.

Second recommendation for Rusper. Dave the workshop mgr knows the cars inside out. Hes a proper mechanic too, not just a parts fitter. Used them for my 3.0 GTV my current GTA, and my old Maserati 3200GT and rate them highly.

They're great guys, very enthusiastic, and can normally loan you a car for the day as well to keep you mobile.

I used to use Rusper too. Highly recommended. Haven't been since Mike retired though.
