Balocco Test Track
Discussion
Just got back from the Fiat/Alfa test track in Balocco Italy.
I ended up going round some of the different tracks in lots of different models.
Alfa 147 GTA 3.2 V6 race spec all stripped out and roll caged.
Sounded a treat and handled great (i want one)
Brera 3.2 V6 standard car.. what a car handling was superb and the speed was un real..
Alfa really know how to make a car that handles.. i drive a 159 and you can throw it round bends.. it grips like a 4wd
Quatroporte Mazza loads of grunt for such a large car.. although when i got to go in it the tyres were about finished so the understeer was bad and the backend was out all the time when the ASR was off.
I did get to see the prototype saloon Bravo!! im not going to comment.
But the test track (proving ground) is one hell of a place and very smart.
If you ever get the chance to go there dont miss it.
Regards
