Hi guys,

I am the event organised for the international charity kart race that is to be held at Rye House, Hertfordshire on Sunday, November 25th.

The official website is available at:
http://www.theraceagainstcancer.co.uk and is the best way to tell you all about the event.

Part of the event is a trackside static display of supercars/hypercars, with DBR9, Mosler, Koenigsegg, LP640, Schumacher B195 F1 Car all confirmed. We are looking for a Alfa 8C to put in the display and if you have a car that is suitable and you would like to put in the display please contact me. All cars will be roped off and have a security team watching them to ensure that the members of the public cannot touch them.

The second thing that I would like to draw to your attention is the grid procession, we plan to drive each driver to the grid using a supercar. If you would like to volunteer to drive one of our motorsport stars from the pitlane to the grid in your car again please contact me. You would be driving your own car at all times on the race track and have one of the worlds biggest stars as a passenger!!

Please be in touch my e-mail is matt.roberts@umms.co.uk

Kind Regards

Matt

Matt, unless Alfa now have a running version of the mule that they showed at Goodwood, you'll be out of luck with this one. AFAIK, the main build has not started yet, and the first cars are not due over here until spring next year anyway.

Lol, you learn something everyday. I honestly thought that the car had been released now, why the delays?

According to someone i spoke to over the w end who deals with supercars the first one/ones are due before christmas but i doubt you will find one in time for your show im afraid. Your one option only may be to call the head alfa dealer UK HR Owen in london and speak to someone there as I am led to believe that their md or owner is getting one of the first into the country.
