head gasket/ rev counter

Hi, couple of things. one of which is the head gasket to my punto_s 60. today i put it in the local garage as the HG is buggered. i have been quoted £350 for new timing belt and HG inc VAT. does this seem reasonable?
secondly my punto comes with a rather large clock instead of a rev counter! not really sure why. does anyone have any idea how hard it would be to fit an aftermarket one on, i know its possible just not sure how.
any help would be great thanks??

hi head skim would set you back £35, gasket set £30 cam belt £10and about 3.5 hours labour both jobs done,as belt already disturbed for gasket replacement, simple job on fire eng .diy.sorry cant help on rev counter
