I Fancy an Alfa
Discussion
Hello all.
I am most probably going to be selling my current daily runner (lotus elise) and need a cheap daily driver. I have always fancied an Alfa and I think its the way for me to go.
I do around 15k a year so the car will have to be reliable (ish) and coming from a lotus some performace would not go a miss but other than that i dont really have any preferences. Budget around 7k
I had taken a liking to the 2.0 GTV (3.0 to thirsty for my needs) but after looking around 5-7k seems alot to spend when the car will loose a good hunk of money in a 3 year period however I want to get a good one. What is the best price point for a GTV? Too expensive and it will loose in depreciation and too little spent could be an expensive ownership excercise.
Any alternative alfas please put the point forward
Thanks

Been thinking about an old alfa - well cherished of necessity as a cheap runabout when the dust settles and the ex mrs simes has left me with anywhere to rest my testicles of a night..
There's a GTV buyers guide published over at http://www.alfaowner.com
the forum is good place for all things alfa...

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/420902.htm prices like these have barely moved in a year. I doubt whether depreciation would be more than 30% in three years; very good for cars generally.Gassing Station | Alfa Romeo, Fiat & Lancia | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
