Can anyone recommend an Alfa Romeo specialist within 15 miles of St Albans, Hertfordshire?
If so, please let me have details.
Thanks.

Why 15 miles? 30 miles away you've one of the best Alfa garages in the UK (http://www.alfaworkshop.co.uk/). Well worth the extra distance!

over your 15 miles, but daysMK in Milton Keynes are absolutely fantastic, i have never experienced better service, a more professional attitude, and such depth of knoledge, all from a very reasonable labour charge of £45 p/h

www.daysmk.co.uk

i was so impressed, i bought the MD's own alfa 166 2.5 from him!

This guy is an absolute genuis when it comes to Alfas.

http://www.k-and-lautos.co.uk/frames.htm

He knows them backwards. Races them, restores them and owns FOURTEEN of them himself at the last count. hehe

Odd question, but are you related to Steve Lyden-Brown? He used to post on here, then about a year ago changed his name to pukepile and then seemed to disappear...

Oh yes, I'm sure. He services loads of Alfas. He works on my Alfa engined Stratos rep. and others.

If I wasn't sure do you think I would bother to post on here? hehe

Sorry Blib, I forgot the smiley on that post; I was being pedantic over the non-existence of 157s.
He's just up the road from me, I'll use him for the GTA. Thanks for the tip.

Yes I am related to Steve Lyden-Brown but he was banned for life from this forum a while ago and is now heavily involved with other forums such as the Aston Martin Owners Club and AROC. However, it was he that suggested I register with this forum with a view to finding a reliable indie for my Alfa Romeo. Thanks for everyone's help, Milton Keynes is too far, so I've now used Jamie Porter.
Thanks,
Rosanne
