New Generation of Alfa GTA cars
Discussion
I can't believe Alfa do not offer any brand new GTA cars currently. I have heard the Brera and 159 GTA's are testing with 400bhp Ferrari V8's
and should have 4WD with a rearward bias but what about the other models?
Will the 500bhp (ish) F430 V8 go into the 169 for a proper M5/E63/RS6 rival?
What about the more affordable cars like the 149 and MiTo? I have read about 200 and 300bhp 2.0 turbo engines for both. But what do you guys think?

A 400bhp V8: just the kind of car a recently "reborn" (i.e. going places but still having to be careful) car company like Alfa Romeo needs in the current climate. There's been talk of such cars ever since the 159 and Brera were announced: 400bhp v8s, twin-turbo V6s blah blah blah and quite frankly it's getting boring, and feels like worshipping at the Church of Top Gear: "we all need powwahhhh!!!111..." It won't happen. Not soon anyway. And when things settle down, there'll be the typical Italian family fued when Maserati feel that their 400bhp saloons and coupes should sit at the head of the dining table.
Compact and lightweight (i.e. adhering to the true definition of GTA) is where it's at.
