Cos we havent had one for a while, its raining and when I take her out at the weekends it feels like she is in her natural environment smile

Seems me sale has fallen through whilst isnt exactly killing me, cos Ive got to drive the car again instead of leaving her nice n shiny. Its just silly how good the car feels in the wet smile

Come on 'grale owners, some more of you out there must have enjoyed some of the natural conditions of late?

Did do last yr. I commutee by train now so the car is hardly driven. Was "bought" a few weks ago but that sale has fallen through and spends far too much of its time in the garage all safe and dry now. As the same had fallen through I thought Id enjoy the car during the week some. An Integrale was born for ste weather and so long as you clean and dry them after use they are just fine. Look after your @Grale and it will look after you.

I know what you mean. I had a yellow evo 2 for about 5 1/2 years. Used it everyday for the first year and a half, then ended up getting a company car and it was relagated to the garage and only came out for evening and weekend blasts. Definetly the best car I've ever had and I only sold it because I had a kid on the way and could'nt see myself getting the chance of using it often enough. 2 boys later, that are becoming right car nuts and it's only a matter of time before I get a nice practical weekend toy for the family. Sounds like I might be getting another integrale then....

An excellent idea smile
Wife has been nagging me for ages to sell mine, she hates it, thinks it is a "chav" car...she has no taste in cars! She has gone quiet of late, thought she would have been really annoyed at the sale falling through, but so far ok. I fully admit Ive loved owning the car, its great fun and I fall in love with the interior again everytime I sit in it. How can you not love a proper Italian leather tan interior and pukka early 90s Recaros, before they went football chav?

Due to the crappy weather I've not been able to bring myself to get mine out of the garrage much. However, the few times I have driven it in the wet it never ceases to amaze me how much grip it finds smile

Well the weathers looking good for the weekend, so providing she gets through the MOT tomorrow morning I will be going for a few drives!

The interior is such a special place to be. The leather high backs look better than any of the alcantara colours, but I did prefer the feel of the alcantara, (so comfortable and soft). It was a truely great place to sit, and thats before you even think about the feel you got from all the controls.

There is a great S bend that I used to love taking in the wet on a minor road between Blandford and Salisbury, just after turning off the main A road. I could just floor it and it gripped all the way out of the bends. I'd look in the mirror and anything behind would always be a long long way behind after that...

Know the feeling smile

Its when it rains that the car truely reveals itself. All potential buyers should be made aware that the normal rules of car buying are revered when it comes to Integrales...only go to look/test drive one when it is raining!

i love that in my Integrale when you have some new hot hatch up your chuff and then you complete a series of fast corners and the guys has backed off.
as for the controls, my Evo 1 feels taught and lets you know exactly whats going on with the car and the feel of the road.

took an s bend recently and my mate in the passenger seat, a grown man of 38, screamed, and then said how the hell did we get round there.

in the wet the grip is just amazing, i think i would get too scared before the car let go.

had mine machine polished by local company in Hampshire called Envy, real amazing job, he also clayed, polished and gave it two coats of wax, result it is gleams and there are no swirl marks.
i would definitely recommend him and the bonus is he's a mega Integrale fan.
look up his website and you'll see other cars, mostly new ones, but i am amazed at the tranformation of my car, it was shiny before but now its amazing, as you can tell i pleased.
