Just bought a 156!

More precisely I put a deposit down on a 2001 2.0 TwinSpark wagon yesterday. Very nice (although not perfect) in Alfa red with tan leather.
Very leggy (150k on the clock), BUT she had a new engine about 60k ago and the suspension was refurbed about 50k ago.
There's a few niggles I wanted sorted before taking it and the dealer is about to go on hols so hopefully will have it towards the end of October.
This is my third Alfa, after a Sud ti (nearly 30 years ago!!) and a 145 from 1995.
My missus reckons I'm mad - I wanted something cheap for whilst I lay up my Elise to give her some TLC and a suspension refresh so I hope she looks after me and repays my faith. The Alfa cost less than the labour costs for a suspension refresh on the Elise (at independant rates!) so hopefully I'll effectively be quids in and have a free wagon come the spring.
