Fiat Coupe - heater problem

Hi Guys - have a heater blower problem and looking for some help. Fuse under bonnet blew a couple of weeks ago and after changing it have intermittent fault, the control will sometimes not work the blower, although the direction control will bring on the blower at max when dial set to MAX DEF. Any ideas where to look now? Many thanks - Andy

If it's only working on max setting it could be the thermal resistor (thermister)...if it's anything like 155s the resistor is down by the fan in the footwell, about 50mmx25mm, but there are various types:
