Recently my alarm has been playing up. After I've used the car and set the alarm/locking, about 15 minutes later the alarm goes off for 30s or so and then resets. This continues until I press the alarm button on the remote. There's no indication what's set the alarm off, no faults showing and I fitted a new battery a few weeks back, so not that.

Any ideas? Having to lock in manually for now...

My GTV has started doing a similar thing since I had to jump start it. It is really annoying. I also have no idea what is causing it. frown

Ideas: check the bonnet/boot is closing properly, might be a sticky switch, spray with usual stuff, &/or check vents are closed, might be setting off the ultrasonics, &/or check courtesy lights aren't switched to on (my little darlings are famous for that...mad)

I few weeks back, the 'boot open' alert on the dash display kept flicking on and off. The alarm played up a bit then, but the boot problem seems to have cleared itself. Maybe it hasn't, just the display not showing. I'll take a further look...

Had the same on my 146, no display of anything open. Kept going off randomly, just gave up and disconnected it, although I may try it again to see if it still does it.

Had a look at the car yesterday and the boot courtesy light seemed to be lose and not working properly. Re-seated it and now working. Alarm not gone off since yesterday, but it only tended too after a drive. Will report back once I've driven it again.
