Hi, I've owned a 145 1.6 ts a while ago.

Im now looking at the 2.0 cloverleaf. Im just wondering if anyone has driven one? what are they like to drive?

Im worried it wont be fast enough due to weight,as Im looking for a car to use on the track.

Also, are there any other Alfas for under £2500 that would be faster/better for use on a track?

It'll be like your 1.6 but with 30% more power, better brakes and quicker steering - the weight is very similar.

You can also pick up 2.0 GTVs too - similar performance but better handling.

If you fancy rear wheel drive, you could go for a 75.

There is a chap on Alfa145.com who succesfully races a 145 in one of the Alfa race series, and another who has created a dedicated track car.
The standard suspension is a bit soft for track work, but striped out with a couple of mods they can be excellent. Great fun car to drive.
