Thinking of ordering Mito this weekend

Hello guys and girls,
well after 11 years of driving and riding bikes i have decided to "probably" take the plunge and buy my first alfa. Went to showroom today and saw my first mito, awesome, love the interior and love the exterior although i think it may be a marmite car!!! Hey i want to be different, not buying a mini. It was between this and the volvo c30 and this wins at min.
Anyway going for test drive then going to place and order if all good, although the dealer is adament that due to it being a economical small car he can't take off even a few quid..find that a bit odd as got nearly grand off new bike few weeks ago, although totally different market i suppose.
He also couldn't give me delivery date so don't know if that menas one week away or 3months, anyone know how quick delivery is on these at mo??? Has anyone else got a good deal on the mito as he's adament he can't....probably cause i rubbish at haggling!!!!

Well you definitely need to find a different dealer. No discount and no delivery date? The guy is a complete idiot, and it tells you what will happen if you have any problems with the car. Alternatively search the car supermarkets such as Motorpoint.

Going by posts on the alfaowner.com website (you might want to check out the MiTo tech lounge over there) I think it's 12 weeks-ish for a factory order, obviously less if they have the spec you want in stock.As for discounts, I think you'll struggle to get much off for the next six months or so, while it's a brand new car and in relatively high demand.
