Fiat Panda and Grande Punto - Info
Discussion
Hi all, I'm in the process of buying a new car, currently looking very much like a VW Polo, but I'm still trying to get my Dad to let me look at Fiats, he has a massive predjudice against them for some reason...
Anyway, I've found some nice 04, 54 and 05 reg 1.2 & 1.3 Panda Eleganzas and some 06 Grande Punto 3dr 1.2 Active & Dynamics.
Are either any good? Worth it? Needs to be cheap to run etc...
Thanks

As you know I bought a Panda 1.2 Dynamic recently, 04 reg with 29k on it and fsh, for £3150. And yes it's great, no doub you read my review on my topic "I just bought a Fiat Panda" but to cut it short, it puts to bed all the old reputations of Fiat. Group 2 insurance as well, so very cheap even for 19 year old me; I actually got it down to £500 fully comp!
The Eleganza's and diesel versions are a bit pricier, and with the extra bits they have on; alloys, bodykit, stripes on the diesel "Sporting" version, this makes them slightly more attractive to thieves, so my advice is go for the Dynamic version, just as good as the Eleganza, but minus the climate control, which you don't really need as the heater/cold air blower is really good, plus you have windows, and some don't have the alloys, but that doesn't really matter either.
In short its great and very cheap. Go for it!
