Can anyone give me a estimate of how much I should be paying for a 10000 miles first service.

Garage say there are 3 filters to change and it will be £200,

If it needs oil it will be £300.

Seems like they are taking the u know what.

I would go to a non franchise dealer but for the warranty.

Does sound high. I would have thought it would be more like £150'ish.
Bear in mind the 159 servicing is the most confusing thing in the world - you only need an annual service if you are doing less than 9,000 miles a year. If you are doing more than that you need a service every 18,000 miles which will be indicated by the trip computer. To add further confusion on the JTDs the oil service is seperate from the main service!

I would ring a couple of dealers for prices. Also bear in mind as long as OEM Alfa parts are used you have no warranty issues wherever you have the work done. I had an early oil change done at my local independant for instance and supplied my own parts via www.shop4parts.co.uk
