Does anyone know if it is possible to turn off the "feature" where the hazard lights come on during hard braking?

I realise it is a safety thing and all that, but as I live in Milton Keynes, there are lots of stop starts at the roundabouts, and sometimes when driving in an enthusiastic manner it is easy to trigger meaning everyone looks at you like a prat for knocking the hazards switch. Or it just adds fuel to the stereotype that Alfa's have dodgy electrics.

Car is a Brera S by the way in case it makes a difference, but imagine it is the same system in all the modern models?

A quick google returns the answer....no, it can't be turne doff. Although some people question if the Alfa Examiner could turn it off.

If yours is coming on too frequently it may be over-sensitive...ask if it can be checked out and "turned down".
