159 3.2 TI fwd?
Discussion
As usual, the Alfa brochure is somewhat misleading.
Can you order a 159 3.2 TI SW without four wheel drive?
If so, anyone know how it will drive? I've had extended drives the 159 3.2 Lusso in the past and always felt it to be too soft and heavy. Hoping TI spec and shedding all wheel drive might help.

Yes you can - 3.2 JTS Ti V6. £28,400 OTR.

Incidentally the 2.4 and 3.2 are now winding down in favour of higher tuned smaller engines like the 1750TBi and 2.0JTD. There doesn't seem to be any imminent plans to replace the bigger capacity stuff.

It's out now "on the Continent".
Can't be long off arriving here - maybe September after the summer shutdown?
Certainly sounds appealing - I'm running a 2.4 Brera as a company car so have one eye on the tax situation and this should have similar performance, more economy, a whole lot lighter, and about the same to tax...

Absolutely. As you know, mine will be a company car as well, and I've often bemoaned the lack of a suitable Alfa engine - I've been swayed towards the obvious German rivals in recent years.
Whilst this looks like it'll still me marginally off the pace compared to say the VAG 2.0 FSI, it's close enough to bring the 159 back into serious contention.
Presume they'll do an auto, TI, SW version as far as you know?
