National Alfa Day, Sunday July 5th, Newby Hall, Ripon
Discussion
Just a reminder that it's National Alfa Day coming up.

It's a good chance to see nearly every type of Alfa - old and new - and there's usually plenty of cars and parts for sale.
Newby Hall is a great family day out too.

I'm hopeful.
I'm on the train to Royston right now to get my car back after a few months of titivation. All being well, I should have it in the SZ/RZ register parking....best not count my chickens, though.
Rick - I was half hoping to catch up with you, so you could talk me into (or out of) the whole GT Junior, GTA idea?

Well I don't know how good I'd be at that Jamie, but it would be great to see you.
Unfortunately I won't be there in my GT but I'm sure there will be plenty of others to look at!
Just as an aside, I DO like the look of the GTV6 for sale here (top one)...

I won't be there - although I'm flying home on Wednesday, by Saturday I'll be on a cruise heading for the Baltic!
In any case, Ripon is a flipping long way from the south coast!
I may have encouraged my cousin along: he lives in Ripon and has a 156.
Interesting thing he said is that there is nothing in the local press/whatever that had alerted him to it!?

I should be there with the 2000GTV, providing I don't stuff it in a tree this weekend on the Lake district classic.
Just a thought to canvas opinion should I wash it after the Rally or bring it as it finished... complete with the muck, the stickers... but hopefully not any dents?.
It's never going to be a concours car, so at least this way it won't be just another scruffy Bertone.

That's me just home - took about an hour to get back into the swing of driving it, but I really like my car.

I'm now sporting the "windswept beetroot" look that I know all the ladies like.

It looks great, but £POA - it always worries me when they run out of numbers for the price...http://www.alexjupemotorsport.co.uk/forsale.htm

I enjoyed the drive, but not that much...
