Air con re-gas for V6 Spider in Maidenhead recommendation?
Discussion
Hi Chaps, don't often post much on the Alfa section, shows how reliable it is
but I've decided the air con needs recharging. I know Kwik Fit offer a service for £45 which sounds like it's worth a punt, but I wondered if it's the sort of thing that really needs a specialist to look at it and if so, does anyone have any recommendations in the Maidenhead, Taplow, Reading area?
Rich...

Rich... I would try Alfa Aid or an aircon specialist.
Not used SGT for about 10 years, they used to be really really good but i couldn't afford their prices. That all may have changed by now.
Please just don't let Kwik Fit near it! After disasters with exhausts and tracking (at more than one branch) I just won't touch them any more. Their last quote for tyres I just laughed and walked out.
Alfa Aid did my last exhaust, a stainless steel back box was cheaper than the quote for a standard part from Kwik Fit by £100, the last nail in Kwik Fit's coffin for me.
