Q for Integrale Experts

Harris,
If you can find a spare moment, would it be possible for you to pop down to your garage and measure the diameter of your Evo lights? I see your point regarding having to compromise on rare items, but I need to get the surrounds (which are a lot easier to find than the lamps) and it'll be money down the drain if these lamps don't fit them.
Thanks!

Would be very happy to, but the car's in the workshop on the other side of the city (been there two months now!). I'll give the tech a call tomorrow as he may be in tomorrow evening. Meanwhile, if you get this message before close of play today, give John Whalley a call as he's always more than happy to impart his wisdom over the phone.
Apologies for the delayed response, flat16. I just got back from a trip abroad and got my car back today to give it its first run under my ownership.
The diameter is approx 11.7cm give or take a bit (using a school issue plastic ruler and a lot of squinting). I measured it from tip to tip of the front part of the lamp. There is a gap of around 3mm between the headlamp and the surround on either side, so I would estimate the hole to be around 12.3cm in diameter.

Harris - you're an absolute star. That's very decent of you. I got some 8v lamps in the end, as I felt that the Evo lights were too modern for my Montecarlo. The 8v lights first surfaced on the Integrale's predecessor, the HF Turbo 4x4 I believe - around 1987-ish, which is nearer the vintage of my '83 Monte. Next step is to find a grille for a sane price...
BTW - If anyone does need Evo lights, Whalley and Walkers keep stock. I got to have a long chat with Mr Whalley about all things Lancia. He's a mine of knowledge on all the cars, Stradales and all sorts. However, what really gets his passion going over all the cars, even the mid-engined exotica, is the Integrale. If you combine his passion, plus the firm's dedication to employing the most academically-qualified mechanics, I doubt there's a better place to take a Lancia, even if it's a non-Integrale. In fact, I saw Jags and the like being serviced at his place.
Cheers!
