Cheap Alfa GT....Good Idea?

Hi all.

I have been looking on the Alfaowner forum for some more info on the GT. I am looking to buy an early 2004 model, either the 2.0JTS or the 3.2 V6 (costs permitting!).

Any know faults, problems to look out for, or any info/knowledge of the car will be greatly appreciated.

GT seems to be the most reliable Alfa so far? Only problem i can think of is frameless doors problem mentioned on here...?

The GT is a pretty solid car and as stated, it seems to be one the most reliable alfas.

mainly due to the fact that it is mostly made up of mature 147 and 156 parts so there is non of the early niggles to iron out as they were done on the 147 and 156!

The JTS is kinda boring though, go for thr JTDm or V6
