Lancia Thema 8.32 on eBay

Hi All,

I'm currently fancy another car and I've been tempted by one of these for many years.

I've seen a couple on ebay recently, but this one has caught my eye as being quite cheap. As it is local-ish and I can afford to spend a bit of time on the car sorting out some of the more fundamental issues.

What are parts like to get hold of? Are there any common issues? Other than the ones unique to this car, i.e. the smacked up alloys, missing interior trim and messed up dashboard upper?

Belts will need doing straight away. Budget £500

Wheels show up on the bay every now and then.

It's rare to see one now that hasn't had shrinkage to the dash leather. Can be stretched again. or replaced reasonably cheaply.

They are not a cheap car - don't expect to be able to run one for peanuts.

These are very nice to drive, though not astonishingly fast. If cambelts were done 5 years ago at 100,000 km, it would seem the car has only done 5000 miles in the last five years, so may be suffering from various 'laid up' syndromes
