Hi,

I'm looking to buy an Alfa Romeo Mito and was wondering if any of you have bought one and recieved a discount from the dealership?

If so how much did you get? Any free extras?

Thanks!!!

Why should they offer a discount on a car that's selling quite well?

I'm serious. The front end looks so heavy and lumpen. When I see one on the road, it looks as if a tumour or a colourful boulder is approaching. It looks so heavy[ from the front.

It's all bonnet. Horrid, horrid, horrid.

IMO it's hideous. It doesn't work for me from any angle.

Sorry if I offended your sensibilities. *

Bringing this back on track wink

A few people over at Alfaowner managed to get £500 off, however worth keeping in mind that discounts are low due to the cars popularity and thus long waiting times.

I think the MiTo has been selling very well under the scrappage scheme too, so that's probably all you can manage to benefit from.

I can see where Blib is coming from, but when I do see them out on the road (as opposed to pics) I think they look very good. Saw a bright yellow one the other day!

Went to the dealership today and was offered a £500 discount. Still, it was not enough for me to part with my hard earned cash!

That's great news, go spend your cash on something dull and characterless - or a kit car.

Drove our 155 today (don't get to see it much! rolleyes) and have to say I loved every minute driving

Plenty quick enough for real world driving (had an Elise SportsRacer and a TTS before this). I agree that the looks are love / hate - so as much as Bilb hates it, I love it

Pick the bones out of that!

(oh and yes, £650 off with some additional servicing etc in the deal... but that all comes down to the rapport you strike up with your Dealer thumbup)

This is good to hear, since after test driving one on Saturday I have bought it (when the V5 for my scrappage car comes in) biggrin

Excited really is not the word...

It's not quite as good as yours wink I went for the 155 Veloce in Black with the Black and Red Cloth. There were only two that they could find in Veloce spec so I had a choice of that or a Red one with a cloverleaf graphics pack...

I was going to get the 1.3JTDM and go on an economy drive, but after I drove the 155 there was just no option really, I'd fallen in love... I really can't wait now to have it all to myself cloud9

Thanks biggrin

I have to wait on the DVLA, as I need a replacement V5. So worst case 5 weeks (assuming 4 weeks for it to arrive) and best case I could be collecting it in 2.

Hopefully it'll be 2 because I don't think I'll sleep till then, it's like Christmas biggrin
