Alfa 3.0 / 3.2 V6

Does anyone by any chance have technical drawings / blueprints for the Alfa Romeo V6 engine, or know where I could obtain them? As a design exercise I'm looking into the possibility of mating 2 V6 engines to make a V12 - basically a totally new block with the same internals fitted to a new crank and a custom ignition/injection system.
As I said, it's only a design exercise at the moment, but I'd ultimately like to try it out for real, but that wouldn't be for quite some time yet - and before anyone says "but that'd be impossibly difficult!", yes it could be, but bloody good fun too!

A little different from the Alfa engines, but technically the same issues. Have you looked at the Detroit Diesels approach to the problem. Their V12 and V16 motors (though diesel and 2 stroke) have either two V6 or V8 blocks joined together, I believe with the timing case, and 4 cylinder heads. I won't mention a pair of rootes blowers in the V or the option of a couple of turbos depending on output.
