The cylinder head has gone on my Brava 2001 (only 70k!!!). Does anyone know of a good (cheap) garage or mechanic (VAT registered) anywhere near m25/J25 (Herts/Essex/North London). Also what is the radio/CD as when I bought it the front of the radio/CD was missing???

Best person is Roger @ Poweritalia in Laindon (Basildon)

find his website and you will get all his contact details easily enough and he is a sound guy, the only person i would have work on my cars if I wasn't doing it. Made his name with Coupe 20VT's and Bravo HGT's and has expanded into all Italians.

Try David Thomas Garages in Codicote. http://www.davidthomasgarages.co.uk/
Italian car specialist. Has done many excellent jobs for my family over the years from Fiat 128s to 20v Coupe Turbos.

Yes. There is one I can personally recommend in Friern Barnet: Finchley & Totteridge Service Centre on 0208 211 4819 and speak to Agostino.

Yes. There are plenty around. Take your pick (and your chances).

How is this connected to a good mechanic? In any case, many cheap ones wouldn't be registered for anything, let alone VAT.
