Hi all hope Xmas was good for you all.

The rear washers packed in on the 147 the other day. There is no chance of them still being frozen, as it is dispensing about 20ml of screenwash before giving up the ghost. The washer bottle is full by the way! Upon opening the boot I find that the black plastic on the inside of the boot hatch is damp and smells suspiciously of screenwash. Is this where I can access the pipes etc and has anyone fixed their washers from there before?

Thanks
Robsco

The pipe has popped off the squirter.
Sit inside you boot, remove the plastic trim, and stick the pipe back on.

Good luck with that - been trying to remove mine on and off for the past 8 months and still can't get the last 2 plastic clips to undo without fear of breaking it!

Have you got all the screws out? I seem to remember there were some at a strange angle which weren't obviously visible. You do need to give it a good pull though. The fixings have barbs on them and are quite stubborn!

Made an attempt to remove the trim today.

Without doubt one of the most frustrating things I have ever come across. After a long time, I gave it up as a bad job. The main problem is that it is nigh on impossible to make any attempt at removing the studs because the trim has no give in it even after the screws are removed. Give it the faintest tug and it felt as though it was going to shatter!

Thanks 14-7. I'm sure its a very simple job, its just that I have no practical knowledge whatsoever!

Never mind, I'll give it another go. Cheers.
