Good Independent Alfa Specialists in North East ?

I am about to get a used Alfa 156 1.8 Twin Spark, and I would like some advice on a good local garage to get any servicing done, in the Newcastle/Durham/Darlington/Teesside/North Yorks area. I would prefer not to use a main dealer for the obvious reasons of cost ... ( although I understand that their attitudes are slowly changing towards customer service etc ! ). Any advice would be most welcome, as this is my first Italian car, having been used to VWs ( and an old Lotus, so I do understand that some cars need more TLC than others !)

Paul,

Have used Alternative Auto's for brake parts, EB spares for rear hub bearings and discs, Gazella for a stainless Ragazzon exhaust. Good service from them all.
