The one below it is the ultra desirable Ti facelift spec. Different front:

It's also from a dealer and is very optimistic!
Suspect it's a very hard car to value...

I also noticed a massive spread on the prices of these. Some dealers are buying them up, perhaps trying to corner the market. Then punting them on with huge price tags

Supply and demand rules with late model 166's.
It is a bit overpriced but what kind of bland 2004 5 series with 40k miles would you get for under 10k which would look better on your driveway than that 166. Also a 2000 model 5 series with 150k on the clock would not be worth more than 1k either.

i sold my 166 3.0 super for about £950

it was a w-plate with about 115k miles. nuvola blue. black momo leather. 6-speed manual. 17" alfa sports wheels etc etc.

it was also an absolute shed... as they all are at that sort of money... absolutely bloody money pits.

looked good though.

crap tbh... the engine was the only good thing about it... it weighed a ton, was very very heavy on its suspension and its brakes... a beemer 528i would run rings round it in all respects other than on the 'character' front... and in nuvola blue is certainly turned lots of heads too.

would i have another? not a chance... but at least i've been there and done it now i guess.

(btw... i am a big alfa fan so am not down on the brand... just the 166... it's an underdog that doesn't deserve to be pitied!)
