what can you expect with mixed driving locally and 75 mph cruise?

Is there an inexpensive re-map type upgrade that works well with these?

In my experience, that would be high 20s. Best I got was from a 350 mile cruise at constant 70mph and that returned mid 30s.

As for remap, you can buy a GTEC chip for around 30GBP which can add maybe 20-30 BHP. There is a guy on the Coupe forum who has a business doing remaps and has had good results.

fccuk.org/forum has loads of information about tuning Coupes.

Lowest I've seen in my car is 16mpg in the Black Mountains, south Wales having some fun. The highest being early 30's driving back from said run.

I have been getting between 27 and 30 mpg with a daily 60mile commute on a 50/50 mix of fast A and twisty B roads for the last couple of years. Driving style seems to make much less difference than with most cars, e.g. thrashing it, it rarely drops below 27, and even driving like a granny it seems almost impossible to push it much over 30mpg.

Considering the performance, the fuel economy is excellent IMO.

30-ish on a run. 4 on a quarter mile run. wink
