I posted on here a while back about changing cam-belt and front anti-roll bar on our 40k mile 147 JTD, as I'd been quoted £500 for belt change and £680 for roll bar change by an Alfa dealer.
Well, I did the job myself a couple of weeks back and did them both in a day and it cost me £90 for the cam belt kit and £86 for a new roll bar. Roll bar took me 2 hours! It all looked complicated to begin with but once the car was in the air and all the gubbins taken off it was a doddle, don't know what I was worried about. Anyway, thanks for input recieved and where to get workshop manual. Cheers
