GTV is being serviced today (filters etc), plus investigating engine management light (poss MAF?), window alignment and one of the engine mount bolts drilled out and refitted as has sheared. AND anything else that turns up!

Being done at a local independent.

For a bit of fun (at my wallet's expense) and on the assumption something else ALWAYS needs doing how much poorer do we think I'll be by the end of the day?

Place your bets NOW!

£416.89 + VAT.

The engine management light will be out when you collect it, but will come on again tomorrow.

I'd settle for a bit of masking tape to cover it up!

Reminds me of when I had a 306 "serviced" at the local dealership and joined the main road only to find I had no 2nd or 4th gear! eek

Engine light still on but no obvious cause
Serviced and bolt removed, replaced on engine mount
Windows not aligned due to time constraints

£120.

So I'm not poor yet. Probably benefit from some Powerflex bushes so that'll be a job to get done. Could have been worse!

my engine light sometimes comes on at start and then if i re-start will go out. If i clean the sensor at the top/back/right (is that the maf?) then it goes away for another few months. Previous owner said he replaced it and it came back again in 6months...
