Alfa 156 Tyre recommendations.

I'm about to pick up a lovely 156 from a local dealers. Three of the tyres are P6000's and the 4th is a brand new Chinese budget special.
Although the tyres have plenty of life in them, I'd rather have something a bit more "pukka" so a new set will be ordered asap.
Can the PH Alfisti recommend tyres that are not going to going to launch me into a ditch at the 1st sign of rain?

What size wheel are you on?

The Toyo T1-R tends to get a 'love it or hate it' response, but Michelin PS2 are a popular choice.

I've got Firestone Firehawk on my 2.0 156, its my Wifes car, so generally gets driven sensibly, but they seem to give good grip in the wet and dry.
