What should I know about the Alfa GT 1.9 Diesel?

I'm looking at one of these, and wondering what to look out for.

It's a 56 plate with 40k on the clock.

I know the engine is used in the Astra etc and it's very well received. What else is there to look for, or to know?

Ive had my 05 plate for last 2 years and love it TBH.
Only problem ive had was changing the outer lamps (fog) in the headlight, it was a bumper off job.
Just replaced disks and pads all round last weekend.
I dont do a lot of miles, bout 6-7k a year so me having no problems may not be a true reflection on reliability, after all it is an alfa
Hopefully someone will come along with a more technical answer.
