Anyone know if it's possible? Is the wiring there, or do I need a harness, or is there more to it than that?

Is there an online parts database I can check like BM's one?

I would imagine the wiring is all there, but you never know!

You need to search for a thing called EPER. That's the parts manual and it (erratically) appears online when someone uploads it. You also see it advertised on Ebay too. Just make sure you get one which is recent enough to cover your car.

Yep, its possible. I did it to my 156. You'll need the clockspring aswell, standard one only has wires for horn & airbag. Why not fit cruise control while your at it (if you dont already have), be even easier while the steering wheel is off.

Cheers guys! Just got myself a complete wheel, airbag, steering-column and all the attached bits for £21! Bargain!

Will give it a go this weekend.

Bummer. Totally different wiring. Ours had a little 4-pin plug, the one on the new wheel had some big 12-pin thing, and I couldn't trace our wiring back far enough to see if it's swappable at all.

New wheel came with cruise control though, so fitted that, though yet to test it...

Got that. it's the plug on this that's totally different to the one in the existing loom. Bummer.
