August Road trip

Right then fellas,
Not long bought my GTV t-spark and im yet to have a proper drive out in it due to work commitments etc etc. So I have booked the whole first week of august off to enjoy the car and hopefully the sunshine.
Firstly would it be weird going away for a week on your own? and secondly can I have some ideas on where to visit. My idea was to just tour the uk and stay in a B+B everynight with a nice local pub. Would also like to fit some museums in. So over to you guys?
